Sanuma Promenade (Inside Sanuma Park)

Walk along a lake with a circumference of 6 kilometers

This promenade allows you to feel a sense of the season while enjoying a magnificent view of Sanuma Lake, one of Ibaraki's 100 scenic spots.

It takes you to many scenic sites, such as Kan O-en, which is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot; the Sanuma Bridge, with a panoramic view of Sanuma Lake and Mt. Tsukuba; Atago Yasaka-jinja Shrine, with a distinctive torii gate; and Sanpo-no-Eki Sun Sun Sanuma, with a cafe and a shop.

Paved with rubber chips to be easy on the legs, it is perfect for walking or running.
